Melodics has four systems that work together to track your effort, test your skills, measure your accuracy, and guide your practice. Here's a quick breakdown of each.
Every time you play in Melodics, you earn XP (Experience Points). As XP builds up, your Stardom rank grows. Stardom is a reflection of how much time and effort you've put in across all instruments – it's not a skill rating, it's a dedication rating.
Each instrument has 15 Stages – skill checkpoints that test what you've learned. Stages unlock in order, and passing one confirms you're ready to move to the next level of challenge. They're separate from regular lessons: lessons are where you practice, Stages are where you prove it.
Melodics scores your lessons based on timing precision and note streaks. Scores can go beyond 100, and there's always room to improve – even on lessons you've already earned Platinum on.
Every Monday, Melodics gives you a fresh set of lessons matched to your current Stage. They're designed to be your first stop when you open the app – relevant, focused practice that also earns you bonus XP.
