Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Factory Reset Your Keyboard
Perform a factory reset on your keyboard. Refer to your user manual or find instructions on this guide.

  2. Check Your USB Cable

    • The length and quality of your USB cable can impact performance. Use a shorter (no longer than 2 meters) or higher-quality cable.

    • Avoid using USB hubs or extension cables; connect your keyboard directly to your computer.

  3. Test MIDI Output

    • To check if your keyboard is sending MIDI signals, download a MIDI monitor tool:

    • Install the tool, open it, and press a few keys on your keyboard. If the notes register, your keyboard is working correctly.

Audio Troubleshooting

If you can't hear the metronome or backing track:

  1. Go to the Settings tab and click ‘Play test audio’.

  2. If you don’t hear anything, make sure:

    • Your audio output device is selected in the Settings tab.

    • Your volume is turned up.

  3. For more details, refer to our audio setup guide.
