How to factory reset your MIDI instrument.

Press SHIFT+BROWSER [GLOBAL] to enter the GLOBAL settings menu.

Press the right arrow button located just below the display screen until you find the page containing Factory Reset.

Use the down arrow button to highlight Factory Reset.

Press the value dial to perform the reset. The unit will bring you back to the MAIN window when the reset is complete.

The LPD and MPD series controllers use Akai Editor software to manage MIDI settings. Download and install this to change and restore default settings on your controller.

Press the PRESET button.

Scroll to the first preset, LiveLite, and press Enter.

Then repeatedly press the > key until the screen reads FACTORY DEFAULTS.

Next press Value Knob down (like a button) to confirm your preset selection.

Press the [PRESET] button and then press the [LEFT CURSOR] button so ‘Factory Settings’ appears in the display.

Select ‘Presets’ by turning the [VALUE DIAL].

To execute the factory reset, press the [VALUE] dial.

Power on while simultaneously holding both [VOLUME +/–] buttons.

Press Kit to enter the Kit Selection page (if you are not already viewing it).

Press Menu to enter the Kit Menu.

Use the Down and Up buttons to select Factory Reset, and then press Enter.

Use the Down and Up buttons to select which settings you want to return to the defaults.

Kit (only the user kits), Song (only the user songs), Voice (only the user voices), Trigger Settings (all trigger settings), All (all of the above).

When All data will be lost! Enter or Exit? appears in the display, press Enter to continue or Exit to cancel.

Wait a minute while the module restores its default settings. After Reset OK! appears in the display, the default settings are restored.

Press Exit to return to the previous page

Press Menu to enter the Kit Menu.

As an alternative, the module can be fully factory reset by holding down the < and > buttons while powering on the module. This will return the module to its full factory default settings.

Hold the < and > arrow buttons simultaneously while powering on the unit.

The screen will show 'RST---' for one second and then the module will restore back to the factory default settings and be ready to use.

With the DM10 module powered off, press and hold the EXIT and STORE buttons.

While holding the EXIT and STORE buttons, power the unit on. Once the screen says SYSTEM REINIT, release the EXIT and STORE buttons.

Press MIDI / SELECT.

Press the RESET button (F# key).

Turn off the keyboard.

Press and hold the leftmost and rightmost TRANSPORT CONTROL buttons ("loop" and "record") while switching QX61's power on

Hold the < and > arrow buttons simultaneously while powering on the unit.

The screen will show 'RST---' for one second and then the module will restore back to the factory default settings and be ready to use.

Turn off the module.

Press and hold the Stop and Enter buttons while powering up the module. 'Resetting Factory Defaults…' will be displayed on the module.

Wait 5 seconds, then let go of the buttons.

Note: samples and user kits will not be impacted by this procedure since the files are saved on the external SD card.

Turn off the module.

Press and hold the Stop and Enter buttons while powering up the module. 'Resetting Factory Defaults...' will be displayed on the module.

Wait 5 seconds, then let go of the buttons.

Turn off the Vortex.

Hold down the Start/Stop and Patch Select buttons, then turn on the Vortex.

Release the Start/Stop and Patch Select Buttons.

You will see the screen flash a few times, then the unit will boot into normal operation with all settings restored to factory.

Press and hold the lowest C and Gb keys on the keyboard and use the power switch to power it on

Open the Help tab and choose Restore INSTRUMENT 1 firmware.

Turn off your controller.

Press and Hold the following buttons: PRST LNK + << + >> + LST STEP

Then turn ON the unit and continue to hold the buttons until the lights start blinking one by one.

Then you can release the buttons and wait for the process to complete.

Make sure KeyLab Essential's USB cable is disconnected.

Press and hold Oct + and Oct – buttons.

Insert the USB cable.

The LCD screen will display a factory reset message.

Confirm the reset by pressing the central knob.

Unplug the USB cable from the back of the keyboard

Hold down the Oct – and Oct + buttons

Plug the USB cable back in, and continue to hold the buttons until the unit is powered on.

Turn off the keyboard.

Press and hold down Oct + and Oct – while powering up the KeyStep. You should see an additional LED pattern, release the buttons once it's over.

Unplug the USB cable from the back of the keyboard

Plug the USB cable back in, and continue to hold the buttons until the pads turn white.

Press the [4] (UTILITY) button and select the Utility tab.

Select the (Factory Reset) option with the value knob and press the [ENTER] button.

In the home screen, select the (SYSTEM) menu.

Select the (RESET) option to restore factory settings.

While holding the [ASSIGN] button, simultaneously press the [8], [9], and [0] buttons.

Release the [ASSIGN] push-button again. The LED of the ASSIGN push-button stays on.

Press the [ENTER] button.

In NORMAL mode, press UTILITY.

Move to the DEF menu and press SAVE/ENTER. All pads will be reset.

Turn off the module.

Power on the module while holding the [TEMPO+] and [SET UP] buttons.

Use [UP] & [DOWN] buttons to select ‘RELOAD FAC SET’.

Press the [SETUP] button to perform factory reset.

In the ‘UTILITY’ menu, select ‘SYSTEM’.

Select ‘FACTORY RESET’ and choose ‘ON’.

Connect your Midi Fighter 64 to the Utility Software.

In the menu bar click: Tools > Midi Fighter > Factory Reset.

Turn off the power.

Power on while holding the [–/+] buttons.

Turn off the power.

Power on while holding the [–/+] buttons. The display will show ‘RSET’, which means all of the parameters in the drum module have been restored to their factory settings.

Turn off the power.

Power on while holding the [–/+] buttons. ‘rSE’ will appear on the display. The factory settings will be restored and any recorded contents erased.

Turn off the power.

Power on while holding the [–/+] buttons. The display will show ‘RSET’, which means all of the parameters in the drum module have been restored to their factory settings.

Load the SET you would like to reset.

Enter EDIT mode.

Press the A#4 key (RESET). Both PROG buttons will flash to show the SET has been reset, and iRig Keys 2 will automatically exit EDIT mode.

Make sure the iRig Pads is disconnected.

While holding SCENE and FIX VEL, connect to your computer.

Release SCENE and FIX VEL.

Press SCENE or FIX VEL.

Press the 'Edit' menu from the menu bar at the top. There are two options listed: 'Revert Current Preset to Factory' and 'Revert All Presets to Factory'.

To only restore one of the factory presets, go to the preset number you wish to restore and use the 'Revert Current Preset to Factory' option.

If you wish to restore all factory presets, use the 'Revert All Presets to Factory' option.

After using these options you will notice the 'Save Preset' button blinking. This indicates that you have to save the preset in order to keep the factory setting in your editor.\

Power off the controller.

Hold down OCT – button, OCT + button and MOD button while powering on the controller.

Power off the controller.

Hold down OCT – button, OCT + button and MOD button while connecting power through USB cable from the computer.

The OCT – button and the OCT + button will blink when the factory-set default condition has been restored.

Power off the controller.

While holding down the Scene, Shift/Tap and Chord Pad buttons, set the Mode switch to 'USB' and turn on the nanoKEY Studio.

The Scene button and Trigger Pads 1 through 8 will stop blinking when the factory-set default state has been restored.

Power off the controller.

Hold down KEY/RANGE button, SCALE/TAP button and SCENE button while connecting power through USB cable from the computer.

The scene LEDs will stop blinking when the factory-set default state has been restored.

Power off the controller.

Hold down the [HOLD] button, [FLAM] button, and [SCENE] button while turning the power on.

The scene LEDs will blink when the factory-set default condition has been restored.

Hold down the [SCENE] key and press the [FIXED VELOCITY/PRELOAD] key. The [FIXED VELOCITY/PRELOAD] key will light, and the [SETTING/ENTER] key will blink. The display will indicate the preloaded scene number.

Use the encoder to select 'ALL'.

Press the [SETTING/ENTER] key. The display will blink 'Lod' and loading will begin. After a time, the blinking will stop. Loading has been completed.

Power off the controller.

Turn on the power while pressing the PAGE < button, the TOUCH SCALE button and the CONTROL button.

Restoring the factory settings takes several seconds after the power goes ON. Never turn the power OFF during this process.

Make sure your computer is powered on.

Power the Keystation Mini 32 by plugging in the USB cable from your computer while simultaneously holding down the Oct/Data '+' and '–' buttons.

Power off the keyboard.

Hold down both Pad Octave buttons (+ and –) while powering the keyboard back on. The screen will flash 'RESET' for one second and return to normal operation.

Make sure your computer is powered on.

Switch on the Keystation Mini 32 MK3 by plugging in the USB cable from your computer while simultaneously holding down the Octave '+' and '–' buttons.

Power off the keyboard.

Hold down both Pad Octave buttons (+ and –) while powering the keyboard back on. The screen will flash 'RESET' for one second and return to normal operation.

Turn the unit off.

Simultaneously hold down the [+] and [–] buttons and turn on the power.

Press "Master" button

Turn "Value" knob anti-clockwise one notch to reach the "System Utilities" menu

Press the "Cursor" button to access the sub menus

Turn "Value" knob clockwise four notches until you reach "Restore Factory"

Hit the "Store" button

Turn the "Value" knob one notch clockwise to confirm "Yes"

Hit "Store" again to restore

In Global > INIT settings, press CURSOR to enter a page that allows you to reset the system settings (everything in the MIDI MENU and GLOBAL MENU) to their default values.

To initialize,hold the SAVE button until it counts down from 5 to 1. If you let go before it passes 1 it will abort the initialization. If you hold SAVE for the full 5 count the display will confirm that you have initialized the system settings.

NOTE: INIT settings will NOT erase the factory or user presets, only the MIDI and GLOBAL settings.

Engage Shift mode and press BANK 3, BANK 4, and PATCH 3.

Press C# twice to reload the Sub Phatty’s 16 factory presets.

Turn the keyboard off.

The LEDs will light in a cycle and then return to normal operation.

Go to the Nord Sound Manager page and download and install the latest version for your computer. (Windows PC users must also download and install the Clavia USB driver.)

Go to the Nord Downloads page, select your instrument, and download the Factory Restore file.

Connect your Nord instrument to the computer via USB and launch the Nord Sound Manager.

Click the Restore icon and select the Factory Restore file in your downloads folder.

Click Restore and all the content in the Nord instrument will be replaced by the content from the Factory Restore file.

Turn the keyboard off.

Hold down the 'shift', '+' and '–' buttons then connect the USB cable to the Impulse.

You will now be in the boot menu. 'Exit' should be displayed on the LCD screen. Press the '+' button three times.

'Fac Rst' should now be displayed on the screen. Push the 'Data' encoder three times.

The Launch Control XL uses editor software to manage MIDI settings. Download and install this to change and restore default settings on your controller.

These devices do not feature factory reset but can all be sent their factory content through the use of Components.

Each device will have the Factory presets available when signed in, listed under the Novation section. Sending factory content to these products will reset things like patches, samples and templates. You can also reinstall the firmware to devices, which will restore some of the factory settings.

Go to Global Settings > Actions column.

Press NOTES OFF and UPDATE OS at the same time.

While holding down the [LOAD] button in the left side (L channel) of the browser section, use a USB cable to connect the DJ-202 to your computer, and continue holding down the [LOAD] button until the SEQUENCER section’s [START/STOP] button blinks.

Press the blinking [START/STOP] button. Factory reset begins.

The MASTER level indicator blinks, and then all buttons and pads are lit. NOTE: Never turn off the power while the MASTER level indicator is blinking.

After the factory reset is complete, disconnect the USB cable to power-off the DJ-202.

While holding down the [LOAD] button in the left side (L channel) of the browser section, press the [POWER] switch to turn on the power. The display indicates 'FACT,'and the [START/STOP] button of the TR-S section blinks.

Press the blinking [START/STOP] button. Factory reset begins. When the display indicates 'CPLT,' factory reset is complete. NOTE: Never turn off the power until the display indicates 'CPLT.'

Turn the DJ-505's power off and then on again.

Hold down the [BACK] button of the browser section, and press the [POWER] switch to turn on the power. The display indicates 'rst,' and the [START/STOP] button of the TR-S section blinks.

Press the blinking [START/STOP] button. Factory reset begins. When the display indicates 'OK,' factory reset is complete. NOTE: Never turn off the power until the display indicates 'OK.'

After the factory reset is complete, press the [POWER] switch to turn the power off and then on again.

Press the SETUP button.

Press the PAGE DOWN button twice.

Press F1 (FACTORY RESET).

Press F5 – 'Factory Reset' appears in the display.

Press the cursor right button to highlight 'OK.'

Press ENTER.

Press SETUP so it's lit.

Press F4 (F RESET).

Press F5 twice.

Press the Function 3 (MENU) button.

Press Function 3 again (SETUP).

Press Function 3 repeatedly to highlight 'Factory Reset.'

Press the ENTER button (KICK will be flashing).

Press Function 3 (RESET) twice.

Press the SETUP button.

Press the cursor down button repeatedly to highlight 'Factory Reset.'

Press the function 3 button (F3) for ENTER.

Press F3 again (EXECUTE).

Press ENTER.

Press the MENU button.

Press the down cursor button twice to show the 'SYSTEM' icon.

Press the function 3 button (SYSTEM).

Press the down cursor button to select 'Factory Reset.'

Press function 3 four times.

Press the MENU button.

Press the 'SEL' up or down buttons to choose 'OPTIONS.'

Press the 'OK' button.

Press SEL down to choose 'FACTORY RESET'.

Press OK.

Use the –/+ dial to select a section of the module you want to reset. PADS –(all pad settings). SYSTEM – (options and pad settings). ...

Press SEL down once.

Press OK.

Turn off the TD-1 module.

Power on while holding the (+) and ( – ) buttons.

When 'rSt' appears in the display, release the (+) and ( – ) buttons, and then press the metronome button.

Make sure the Block is fully charged and disconnected from any devices

With the Block turned on, first press and hold the Mode button, and while holding the Mode button, press the Power button briefly.

Open ROLI Dashboard and connect your Block via Bluetooth (Mac only) or USB

With your Block selected in ROLI Dashboard, navigate to the 'Device' menu in the menu bar

Click on 'Reset to default settings'

Power off the module.

Press and hold the [–] and [+] buttons while simultaneously pressing and holding the power button. The module display will read ‘rSt’ during startup.

Press the PAGE button until you see the screen for ‘Util Reset’.

Select ‘Restore to Factory’. This will reset the module back to factory setup

Turn the unit off.

Simultaneously hold down the C7 (the highest) key and turn on the power. Hold key C7 for 2–3 seconds.

Simultaneously hold down the C7 (the highest) key and turn on the power. Make sure to hold down the key until the message appears at the top left of the display.

Turn the POWER switch OFF.

Turn it ON while holding the VOLUME [+] and [–] buttons. The module will reset to its initial factory settings.

Turn it ON while holding the cursor [<] and [>] buttons. The module will reset to its initial factory settings.

Press the [MENU] button.

Turn the [DIAL] to move the cursor to 'Utility'.

Press the [DIAL].

Turn the [DIAL] to move the cursor to 'FactSet'.

Press the [DIAL].

Press the [F3] button. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to restore the Factory Set.

Press the [DIAL] to restore the Factory Set.

NOTE: If you select the 'PowerOn Auto' checkbox on the page displayed for Step 6 above, the Factory Set will be restored each time you turn on your DTX700.

Press the Utility button or the cog icon on the screen, and then press Settings.

Press System, select the option you wish to reset, and then press Initialize to perform the reset.

Turn the unit off.

Simultaneously hold down the C7 (the highest) key and turn on the power. Hold key C7 for 2–3 seconds.

While holding down the rightmost key on the keyboard, turn on the instrument.

Reface CS, Reface CP, and Reface YC: the instrument’s lamps will flash. Reface DX The message 'Factory reset' will be displayed on-screen. When the Factory Reset has finished, the lamps will stop flashing or the message will disappear.

Turn the unit off.

Simultaneously hold down the C7 (the highest) key and turn on the power. Hold key C7 for 2–3 seconds.
