Here’s a list of popular MIDI controllers and how to factory reset them. Note that any custom presets or custom loaded samples may be removed when factory resetting your controller.
If your controller is not on this list, refer to your user manual for more information. Please also bear in mind that some controllers might not have the option to restore factory settings.

As an alternative, the module can be fully factory reset by holding down the < and > buttons while powering on the module. This will return the module to its full factory default settings.

These devices do not feature factory reset but can all be sent their factory content through the use of Components.
Each device will have the Factory presets available when signed in, listed under the Novation section. Sending factory content to these products will reset things like patches, samples and templates. You can also reinstall the firmware to devices, which will restore some of the factory settings.

Turn the unit off.
Simultaneously hold down the C7 (the highest) key and turn on the power. Hold key C7 for 2–3 seconds.

While holding down the rightmost key on the keyboard, turn on the instrument.
Reface CS, Reface CP, and Reface YC: the instrument’s lamps will flash. Reface DX The message 'Factory reset' will be displayed on-screen. When the Factory Reset has finished, the lamps will stop flashing or the message will disappear.
